The Pandemic Preparedness through Pathogen Detection innovation programme (P3Dx) is organising a symposium on the future of testing. In doing so, we will deliberately look beyond pandemic preparedness alone. How can testing innovations help prevent or limit societal disruption? What role can diagnostics and biotechnology play in addressing challenges such as antimicrobial resistance, pressure on healthcare systems, and defence? And how can innovation strengthen our strategic autonomy in the Netherlands and Europe?
During the symposium, we will explore the choices needed to make testing faster to deploy, more scalable, and more effectively applicable in times of crisis and beyond. Speakers from public health, biotech, MedTech, defence, and infectious disease diagnostics will share practical lessons and their vision for the future of testing and biotechnology.
In addition to the plenary programme, there will be interactive break-out sessions in which participants will jointly explore how innovations can move more quickly into practice, policy, and the market.
De programme exists of plenary sessions with keynote speakers and interactive break-out sessions.
